Live Finale & Live Tour

“FOREVER GRATEFUL”

Our STAR CELLS live finale dance is about celebrating resilience, community spirit, and hope for the future. Performed and recorded live at St Pancras International station, we have titled this piece “Forever Grateful”, and is inspired by the Rugby League legend Rob Burrow MBE.

Rob Burrows played professionally for the Leeds Rhinos in the Super League for 16 years, before retiring in 2017. In 2019, it was publicly revealed Rob was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, and has tirelessly worked to support charitable activities in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association since, being awarded an MBE from the Queen in the 2021 New Years Honors List for his services to this cause.  He is an inspiration to us all.

For the performance, our dancers dress as real-life super heroes – doctors, scientists, patients, artists, teachers, sports stars and postal workers – and will be lighting up several secret locations in Richmond during July 2021, to help raise the profile of MND research as part of the Richmond Live Festival.

Keep your eyes peeled around Richmond to witness their incredible routine!
